Stacy's Story
A week after graduation I moved to Albuquerque, NM, to live with my dad and go to UNM. What an experience! My first class was Bio. 101 and there were about 1000 people in that auditorium! I was tempted to go home, I felt so out of place, didn't know anyone, was homesick but somehow I stuck it out, made lots of new friends, and graduated with my degree in Physical Therapy and have been working back in Yuma ever si...Expand for more
nce, although I swore I never would move back here, EVER!! Does that sound familiar? Yuma is a great place to raise a family though ;) I have 2 children, a dtr named Cheyann 18 YO, and a son named Cody 15 YO. Cheyann just graduated from Yuma High, the 4th generation in my family to do so. Cody however is going to Gila Ridge High which is a new HS near AWC. It is so hard to believe that it's been 30 years...WOW!!
