Stan's Story
(See 5/1/24 updates below.) Went into the Marines 2-weeks after High School. Got out after 4 years as a Sergeant. Learned to be a Computer Programmer in the Marines. Worked my way up from programming to managing programmers. Got married in September 1995 - going through a divoce now. Will be final by June 2012. Living in Bloomington IL. Been working for the same company for over 26 years now. I stay active with working out - used to play sports (softball up until about 5 years ago and knee surgery). eally love to play cards (Poker) - local games/tournaments - or Vegas :). I still enjoy riding my motorcycle, but don't do it that often.
05/01/2024 Update: Got remarried almost 5 years ago. Retired 2/1/22 after 36 yrs with the same company. Wife and I do a lot of traveling. We have half-way around the world, from Australia to Poland . We have 3 awesome Grandkids, 4, 3 and 2 yrs old. No longer have my motorcycle, preferring a safer ride in the rain. Hobby is mostly woodworking, traveling and playing cards.
