Stan Carey:  

Life Stan Carey the President / Head Football Coach of the newly NORTHWEST ORCAS football franchise that is also in Seattle area that is slated to start in 2005 Season. Stan was born and raised in Atlanta , Georgia as an only child being adopted. Stan also is 48 year old energetic sports businessman/football coach that does enjoy work as a consultant and football coaching . Despite his DISABILITIES (Hard of Hearing in Right Ear with Left Ear 100% Deafness and also born with a form of CP) Stan has been able to actually play contact football in limited positions on special teams as SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER as well served as SPECIAL TEAMS CAPTAIN several times. Played H.S. , College , Minor League Pro Football and retired as player in 2000 . Also had his own radio talk show on WHNE-AM (ABC SPORTS) in 1983 and 1984 seasons while player- coach title with Atlanta Knights and Gainesville Rams in which Atlanta Knights won the league championship in 1983 season. Stan is very knowledgeable in football from both coaching and management point of view , experienced as well able to function very well in an administrative - coaching position for almost any football program or professional football franchise. He is very "organized" when it comes to football travel , game planning ,breaking down films, home and away games and practices etc... Just recently after the wake of firing of University of Washington Head Football Coach in June of 2003 , Stan submitted for interview for Head Coaching position at University of Washington and was indeed interviewed shortly after the firing of Rick Neuheisel , in which Stan was really given considerations and his football intelligence as well knowledge really impressed Athletic Director , Barbara Hedges and others close to the university football program and even after the fact of knowing Stan over several years as well Stan's real love for the game of football and his ability to motivate...Expand for more
