Most recent. May 2013, joined Fanshawe College as the Operations Supervisor in the International Centre. History. Finished high school in 1974...joined military in 1975...served/lived in New Brunswick, PEI, Manitoba, Ontario(London, Kingston, Ottawa, Borden), Cyprus, Norway and Italy. Left military in 1996, worked with DND and INAC with former Camp Ipperwash for five years until 2001. I also served as Commanding Officer of a London Army Reserve unit during period 1997-2001 and undertook Executive MBA at Richard Ivey School of Business. I worked with DND again in Ottawa for two years then headed to United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) served in Iraq, Liberia. Rejoined regular Canadian Forces Army for two years 2004-6 and served in Afghanistan, awarded US Bronze Star for service. I went back to UNDP in 2006 -2009 in worked and lived in New York covering off sub-Saharan Africa with long missions to Syria, DRC and Goma. During Dec 2009- Sep 2012, I went from NY to Pakistan as the senior Threat and Risk analyst for the United Nations. Upon my return and only for a short while I was Senior Associate with Security Governance Group out of Waterloo. I spent four years at Fanshawe College, most of it as Operations Supervisor in the International Department followed by a year as the inaugural Business Development manager for Fanshawe's new Canadian Centre for Product Validation (CCPV) .
