Stan's Story
¿ Moved to farm town Harvard Sophomore yr; '72.
Rednecks thought runners were weird!... but my half mile track record stayed for 25 years. Ha!
¿ '74-'77; Ft. Bragg, NC where I was an artist for the Army. Toughest but most adventurous memory; Jungle training in Panama; think you wouldn't eat bugs & monkey meat to stay alive? I didn't either! Earned Army Commendation Medal for starting Men's Soccer & coaching kids.
¿ Soccer scholarship to NIU. Honed Illustrator & Design craft. Embarrassingly, was disco king back then!- how did I always make it to 8am class after dancing til 4am??
One benefit though; partner (swing) dancing always comes in handy when you're looking for a wife!

agencies, started at the Chgo Sun-Times. Claim-to-fame was creating new Rice Krispies characters for Kellogg's/Leo Burnett.
¿ Took over family hobby farm after my Dad passed on. Only brother, Kris, is a dentist in Rockford, IL. More famously known now for purchasing Rkfd Ice Hogs franchise & taking the trophy last year! Proud of my older bro...sold farm, live near Rockford in Loves Park.
¿ Romie & I lived a year in Scottsdale; not suited for graphic's guys like me--but will try again!
¿ Finally married at age 49!
¿ Love Motorcycle Touring; traveled 48 states & a lot of Europe...still visit relatives in Poland & London.
¿ Most motorcycle buddies I met thru Christian church groups!
¿ Love life & friends are always important to this sentimental guy...
