Stan's Story

Life After Travis, I moved to Houston where I attended college. Soon after, I joined the Air Force and had a wonderful (most of the time) career. In 22 years of continuous active duty, I moved some 17 times all over the world. I spent my second career (14 years) as a Human Resource Consultant in Dallas-Ft. Worth. I retired from that in 2003. Since 2004, I have been a university faculty member teaching in the School of Business. I am still there as of March 2014. I have two terrific children, Matt 37, and Sarah 35 who is Dr. of Clinical Psychology. Finally, someone will be able to figure out dad. I have (by Matt) 3 grandchil...Expand for more
dren, Jonathan, 17, and Alexis, 13, and Matt, 11; by Sarah, we have Jonah, age 6. I remember my days at Travis with great fondness. I am now able to revisit old friendships through this service. Traveling the way I did made it difficult to keep up with high school classmates. After a 36 year absence, I married my Travis sweetheart, Kathryn Cummings. She also had two children, Kevin and Michelle. So, I really have four children and six grandchildren. We are both involved in church work and are active in church mission work. Please feel free to email and stay in contact. We plan to attend the 40th reunion in 2007. Blessings to all!
