First arrived in San Diego, later a new job moved me to Downey, then Glandale and finally to a small town called Diamond Bar (pop. 8000 people when I arrived in 1965, now ~60,000) Still living in the same home with my wife of 42 years. Workplace
Ater leaving Newark College of Engineering with a BS in ME degree I joined General Dynamics/Astronautics (GD/A) to work on the Atlas Missile Program in 1961 in Omaha, Nebraska. Transferred to San Diego with GD/A then left in 1963 to work on the Apollo Program for North American Aviation in Downey, Cal. Worked on Apollo Prgrm (8yrs), Apollo-Soyuz Prgrm (1yr), Skylab Prgrm (1 yr) and Space Shuttle Prgrm (34 yrs)- still working Shuttle Program today.
Growing up I was always fascinated with science fiction. My job allowed me to work with many pioneers in the manned space travel field-I worked my fiction into reality.
