Life
After graduating from Hayward High School I enlisted in the Air Force as an aircraft mechanic. I spent three years in Alaska on flying status. After discharge in 1955 I worked as an insurance investigator and a vaccuum cleaner salesman for several months. ery interesting life and at times an exciting life. After retiring from civil service I worked as a taxicab driver for about three years. This was capped when a passenger attempted to kill and rob me. He was unsuccessful on both counts although he did blind me in one eye. I only regret I allowed him to escape when I fully expected to kill him in retaliation.
I worked on the 50 year reunion committee and found myself becoming extremely proud of all my classmates and their partners in life. They have scattered to the four winds and have a great diversity in their careers but I find them all highly successful in their own light. If any of you wish to correspond with me I will be most happy to hear from you and will endeavor to answer you as soon as I hear from you.
