Stanley's Story
After high school, I graduated from Queens College (1968)majoring in psychology and education. I got a MS in
School Psychology from St John's(1970)
I spent virtually my whole career as a psychologist with a NYS agency-
NYS Division for Youth, working first in residences then in an administrative
capacity monitoring youthful juevenile offenders placed with voluntary childcare agencies

Im a now active in CCNY for retired adults (Quest) where I teach liteature classes, and as free lance photographer (my portfolio- under Stan Raffes-is posted on "Flickr".
My wife, Vali, is Romanaian- we live in Rego Park,Queens. I have one granddaughter,Patricia, in Romania-
she is one month old
In high school, I was shy- I always wanted to be a writer, or journalist
