"I worked for a printing company 30 years in Albuquerque. Did composition. I am on call as a sub for a Christian grade school for preschool through first grade. Enjoy being around the kids very much. Was a waiter for a couple of years after I retired at a small 50s diner. Love to cook. Help out with that at events.
I moved to Albuquerque in 1972. Really enjoy it here. As you can see by some of my pictures, I enjoy the old west. Like going to such events. The "End of Trail" that was held in Norco CA for 23 years is now held in New Mexico. Its out in the country on a 500...Expand for more
acre ranch. Its an annual event held in June. That is fun. Have gone to Tombstone AZ a couple of times with a group where we did some street theater shoot-outs.
I go to as many classic car shows as I can. It reminds me of the good old days of the 50s. Usually they have the 50s music playing as well. My favorite is at the Owl Cafe. First Tuesday is classic 50s and older. Third Thursday is muscle cars. Very nice event during the summer.
Yes, New Mexican cuisine is the best. Love the green chile cheese burger which we are are so famous for. We like green chile on most everything.
I am active in my church. One of the things i like helping with is cooking of meals. Also help with babysitting of the little ones.
