Life After graduating from the Maryland Institute of Art (1970) in Baltimore with a BFA in Art Education, started teaching art. Taught elemntary art for 5 yrs., middle school for 20 yrs., and then high school for 13 yrs. Acquired my masters at Towson University in Instructional Technology and taught Computer Graphics for five yrs. In 2004 was selected as one of 8 finalists in Carroll County for Teacher of the Year from the business community. I retired form teaching art (2008) after 38 yrs. and am now developing my own film production company in developing art lessons for home schoolers and private Christian schools. I have also illustrated two children’s books. My wife was a teacher/administrator in the local community college and after 20 some yrs has retired and since has written 9 books on local history! I have three children, 2 boys and a girl. My daughter is a Kindergarten teacher and she and her husband have two daughters and a boy ages 12,10, and 7.
