Starla's Story
I graduated from Hobart High School and later attended Davenport University and received Accounting and Data Processing Credentials and guess I wasn't finished and also attended Kaplan College and am now a RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) for a Neurologist and Neurosurgeon as well as Office Lead for the Physician's Office located in St Mary Medical Center. I have three children of my own but six between myself and husband John. We share 13 awesome grandchildren. Made full circle and am happily living in Hobart IN again. Hello Class of '78. I am contemplating on going back to school once again....yep, once again to be a Christian Counselor. But we will see what the future holds...
As for me and my likes...my MOTTO is "I hope you dance..." I have experienced so much in my life and each one I associate with a "dance", some were more difficult than others but I respect those experiences as much if not more due to all that was gained when they were finished. I love all sorts of music so anything from blues to Rock n Roll...
My favorite book is The Bible, all others pale in comparison but I do love to read a variety of styles, mystery, self improvements, spiritual etc.
I am a romantic still so movies I love is always something that takes one that is less f...Expand for more
ortunate and ends up having the dream come true...such as...Pretty Woman...Overboard...The Notebook...but I love comedy, I believe comedy helps keep the soul young and one of the most recent that had me multiple times was Bridesmaids and Mom's Night Out....but of course, I love my action packed movies as well...the Expendables or any action packed movie with Stephen Segal in it well I will be in the front row...LOL I could go on all day but I will try and finish my Movie/TV interests with my favorite TV shows...NCIS...NCIS Las Angeles...CSI Cyber...Blue Bloods...Point of Interest...Mike and Molly....Two Broke Girls...Big Bang Theory...All in the Family...HGTV Property Brothers...Duck Dynasty...and Hawaii Five-O.
I love my two dogs, Rascal (Pomeranian) and Mr. Peabody (Boston Terrier)...I love my sweet husband John who taught me unconditional love...I love my children (Mark, Trisha, and Wendy) and all thirteen of my grandchildren (Elizabeth, Tommy, Jacob Y, Addie, Emily Rebekah, Alyssa, Jake, Ashley, Michael, Hailey, Chelsea, Hannah, and Hunter...From 16 years to 6 months old....
Well, I believe I have summed it up in a nutshell...it would be nice if we had another class reunion...be able to talk to people in person...what can I say, I AM a people person...LOL
