Stella's Story
Life
After graduating from SUNY New Paltz, I began teaching in Elmont, New York. I married Harry Abel August 11, 1968, and on December 31, 1970, our twin boys Scott and Matthew were born. Each is married now. Matthew is a pediatrician in New Milford, Conn. He and his wife, Debbie, have a 5 year old son, Joshua Daniel and they are expecting their second child this August. 1-800-FLOWERS, and he and his wife, Abbey, have a daughter, Taylor Madison who is 4 and 1/2 years old and a son Jeremy Tyler who is 2. They are the lights of my life! Harry and I have lived in Yorktown Heights, NY for 35 years. I taught second grade at our local elementary school for many years and retired last year. Harry continues to work and enjoys both soccer refereeing and softball umpiring. Life is good!
