Stephanie's Story
Well my folks yanked me out of So. Cal. the summer before my Sr. year ('83). I came to New Mexico and have been pretty happy. I was a hairdresser for 10 years and during that time I attended UNM and NMHU. I have a degree in History- I always thank Coach Rudin and Mrs. Pebbles for getting me interested. I met my husband at NMHU and we have been married for 15 years. We have one daughter, Geri, who will be starting middle school this year. I left hairdressing and was a Mom until Geri started Kinder. I have been a teacher for 8 years. I like it, I don't love it-yet. I will be teaching 6th grad...Expand for more
e this year. I can't wait to deal with all of the drama (I taught Kinder for 5 years and was a Reading Specialist for 2). I still play the drums and have been teaching my daughter the old marching band cadences. We love to go to concerts and still go to as many as possible. We just saw No Doubt- love all the So. Cal bands. We have about 5 to go to this Summer season. Still LOVE Ozzy, Rush, Heaven & Hell(which is DIO/Black Sabbath),Judas Priest, Metallica, Motley Crue (went to Cruefest last year and will go again in July) and still stay up late to watch Metal Mania. Still a rocker at heart.
