Stephanie's Story
I think that most people who know me would say that I'm a person who works really hard, maybe even to a fault. In May 2009, I graduated summa cum laude from Messiah College with a Bachelor of Science in Music Education. While student teaching in the spring of 2009, I realized that, although I've always enjoyed being in school, I wanted to begin my career and put higher education on hold. , I've have been teaching K-8 general music at St. Aloysius Academy, an all boys' Catholic school in Bryn Mawr, PA. Although I've put formal schooling on hold for now, I am always looking to improve my teaching practices and better myself through workshops and networking. In the summer of 2011, I would like to begin work on my Masters degree. My hope is to obtain my degree and certification in Kodaly Pedigogy.
