I went to three different high schools -- John Marshall and Venice High in my Freshman year, La Puente High as a Junior, and back to John Marshall again as a Senior. Consequently I had three different sets of high school friends! The trouble was, I moved around a lot after high school and didn't keep in touch with any of them. I always wanted to travel and see the world, so I planned to either go to college and become a teacher (so I could have summers off for travel) or become a stewardess. After graduating from JMHS in S'65 I went to LACC and took Transportation and Travel Agency Procedures so I could work as a stewardess, but decided somewhere along the line that being a Travel Agent would be better. I worked for Delta Airlines as a Reservation Agent for about a year, then started working for agencies and tour operators. I took a break for a couple of years to get married, and had two sons.
