Stephanie's Story
Well, I left school in the second semester of 11th grade to have my son, and i did not make it back. I got married at 19 to a man 15 years my senior. (not the man in my photo album) He had two son's I quickly became a stay at home mom with no education. About 6 months after my 19th birthday I had my daughter Melissa. I was partying a lot and began misbehaving. By the time I was 23 I had my third child, Melanie my baby girl.
I stayed married from 1989-2004 and I finally had enough and so we split up and divorced there after. I had to learn how to work and live in the real world on my own with 3 kids. A lot of other stuff happened bu...Expand for more
t that is not for everyones hears. I ended up working three jobs to make ends meet. One of the jobs was UPS and I ended up doing some pretty good damage to my back. Then I could not work, so then after 19 years I studied and got my GED in Nov 2005. I am currently enrolled at MCCKC Longview with a 3.25 GPA, way better than I ever thought about doing while in school. I am studying to become a Radiologist. In the Spring of 2009 I will have recieved a degree in Assoicates of Arts. Than in the fall I will hopefully go to Penn VAlley.
A side note, I got clean off drugs and alcohol on 4/20/1999. So I have been clean a little over 9 years.
