have made AQHA Champions, AQHA Register Of Merits, AQHA Superior Barrel Racing Horses, AQHA Superior Pole Bending Horses, 3 yrs in a row ( '64, '65, '66) #1 Mare in the Nation with AQHA in Pole Bending (our Great mare HIGH DRIVE), 2 times Reserve World Champion Pole Bending Horse at the AQHA World Show (with my fastest time being 19.345 on my Great mare ROCKET MOON MISS). My great horse, KEEP THE HEAT ON "Keeper", who was family raised, went to the NFR 2 yrs w/ Brenda Tyler. I've won many year-end awards with different barrel racing association, too many to list all. I train mostly for barrel racing and pole bending now and that includes putting a good handle on them before I show them the barrels or poles. I like my horses to stay quite and calm. A relaxed horse can learn more easily and enjoy their job. It's my passion to communicate to each horse as individuals, showing and teaching them to become outstanding equines. I like bonding with them and showing their owners what they can do. I also work with the rider, who is going to ride the horse when it goes home. I also give lessons to riders to improve their riding skills and/or barrel pattern or pole pattern. I take pride in my work and my horses!!!".
