Stephanie's Story
After High School, I spent my first year of college in Pikeville. Then, I transferred to UK, where I received a degree in Social Work with a minor in Education. I was working a Lexington Child Abuse Council and getting ready to start Law School, when my high school sweetheart, whom I had just married, asked me to go with him to take the test for a local automotive manufacturing facility. t I do. I am in a management position in the Body Welding Department. I work long hours and switch shifts every 4 months. Five years ago, the most incredible event occurred when I brought my gifted, wonderful son, Clayton, into this world. He has made me a better person and everyday I spend all my time trying to be the kind of parent that he deserves. So, pretty much my life is made up of Clayton and work. And we tend to throw as much travel and camping time into this as we can find and afford!! ha ha.
