Stephanie's Story
I loved high school but I didn't get a chance to enjoy it much. I was on the work study program. After freshman year It was off to work everyday after division class. I missed most of the pep rallies, basketball and football games. I always made it to the Home Coming game usually at Corliss Stadium. My favorite teacher was Mrs. Richardson (English). She was the teacher that told me and others "you can be whatever you want to be". I currently work for Cintas Corporation here in Chicago. eviously worked for the Economic Club of Chicago as a Information Systems Manager. I am divorced since 2003. I have a 12 year old son. His name is Quinn. I live in the CVS South Shore area funny huh! I remember riding the Jeffrey 6 to school everyday from my neighborhood. I said over and over to myself "one day I will own one of these homes". It was a childhood dream. Growing up I thought they were the most beautiful homes I had ever seen. I lived in the south suburbs while married. When it was time to move on I decided the City is where I wanted to be.
