Stephanie's Story
Despite my high school debauchery I recovered my senses long enough to finally come out; this having been precipitated by the death of my husband, Tim Lee, whose name I have kept since then (1993). Currently in a longtime partnership (of sixteen years) and living in Maryland, I struggled with chronic back pain for years before finally finding proper treatment and developing the tools necessary for coping and living productively and successfully. the lion's share of any available time and energy.
My family has stayed in Wisconsin and I make the trip several times a year, most recently for some (of their) serious medical reasons, but am happy to report all are well - healthy and thriving. My sisters have provided me with three nephews and a niece who make my life rich beyond all measure.
The road which has led me to this point in my life has never been free of twists and turns, bumps and snags - the occasional dragon or two - but we'd be hard pressed to find among us those without difficulties. Life is good and has been for some time.
