Stephanie's Story
Life
Nope..never left Sacramento...my life might have turned out surprising to my old friend's in High School, not so surprising to others...I live a good life, if a bit unconventional...Just me and my son, who turned 15 Aug '08...can't believe it..I was his age when I met his father....looking forward to hearing from old friends and talkin bout the good ol days!! Go ahead..message me..I promise I won't bite...too hard!!!! I also want to apologize to anybody and everybody for anything I might have done to hurt them...physically, mentally...etc. I have come to the realization that I really thought I was hot stuff, and tho I was (lol), it's no excuse for any abuse I dealt to my fellow students.
School
Ok, I have a whole bunch of communities listed, well because I moved around a lot, and went to different schools. I spent my Freshman year 90-91, at Rio Americano, and would love to chat with a bunch of old friends from there. I then spent my Sophomore and part of my Junior Year at Mesa Verde...dont remember too many peeps from there tho...too much..um, partyin'...spent last 4 months of Junior year at San Juan, then La Entra...Expand for more
da, when I moved in with my ex Travis, then when I got prego, went to Sierra Nueva...Anthony was born 2 weeks before my Senior started..but I made it..LOL a couple of bumps and scrapes along the way, but I did it...Oh, and I spent 3 years getting my AA in Early Childhood Development at ARC. Should have only spent 2 years, but I was working full time, so I didn't load up on my classes.
Workplace
Let's see..I have had a lot of jobs, and a few careers...spent many a summer day flippin burgers, or fryin chicken...spent 5 years as a preschool teacher, which I loved, and if I could have supported myself on the salary, I would still be doing it. However, I have spent the last 3 and a half years working for the State of California, I am a Workers' Compensation Insurance Adjuster for State Compensation Insurance Fund, State Contracts, which means we only handle State Employee Work Comp Claims. I happen to deal with ONLY CHP work comp claims. It's fun, interesting, rewarding, and well paying..hope to keep moving up the claims ladder, and retire in 25 years..I have a great bunch of people I work with, and I really love my job.
