Stephanie's Story
Life
Once I graduated college, did some touring with a jazz band, sang with the Master Chorale, some solo gigs, worked several different day jobs as administrative assistants and while I was doing this, took some classes on costume designing. Over the years, I had sewn for other people so in 1993 I opening a costume design/sewing business - Wysteria Moon Designs. aries for the History Channel. In 1999, I was voted "Best Costume Designer for Tampa Bay". I started teaching clothing construction and costume history at the International Academy of Design and Technology in 2004. In 2005, the academy opened a Recording Arts program and I am now the Music theory, Piano Keyboarding, and Music Appreciation professor. Since I have a full-load of classes in the recording arts department, I am no longer teaching in the fashion dept. I am in the process of cutting a CD, which I am very excited about. I live in Tampa with my beloved dog Bandit.
