Stephanie's Story
Life
After High School, I went to college, took a couple of years off and went to New Jersey to be a Nanny for a year and a half. Then I went back to college with a special education/early childhood education major. I moved back to Colorado before finishing college and became a Nanny again, this time for 3-1/2 years. I then went to massage school, and have been a successful massage therapist for 10 years. While in New Jersey I met an amazing man named Fred who later moved out to Colorado and even later became my husband. We now have 2 amazing little ones. is 2-1/2 years old and very snuggly and joyful. They both love to play outdoors and are very creative. When Fred and I are not working we love to hike, picnic in the park, go camping, watch hockey (we are big Avalanche fans) and spend time with our kids. I am looking forward to when the kids are old enough that we can travel. The kids will go to a Spanish Dual Language school here in Lafayette, so I'd love to travel with them to South and Central America to do Social or Environmental projects with our church. (We are all actively involved in our Unitarian Universalist Fellowship) Mostly, we just enjoy life!
