Stephanie's Story
Hi everyone,
It is certainly hard to believe we graduated good ole Richwoods almost 15 years ago! Time flies! I have been in Frederick, MD for almost 10 years. I met my husband out here and have been married for 6 years, also with a 2-year old boy. I work as an occupational therapist. It sure is difficult trying to maintain a family and a full-time career. I can honestly say that I love what I do and enjoy going to work everyday. I get home to Peoria about once/year--it's nice to visit, but realize Maryland is my home now. In terms of friends from RHS, I am still close to Allison McDaniel. We talk almost every week. The people I would love to see again are Tom Hertzfeldt, Kevin Maughan, Meredith Fenton and Mindy Ziffren. I have not seen any of these classmates since high school and would love to see what they are up to now.
Some words of wisdom I learned from son...he loves to smell flowers and everytime we took walks this summer he would stop and say "smell flowers"-- he taught me how to slow down again and try to enjoy the little things in life.
