Stephanie's Story
Now living in Phoenix, Arizona. Married twice, (now widowed) four children, five step-children, currently widowed. Retired after 35 years as Executive Secretary at Hospital in Tucson. A little over the top about loving my two dogs, choclate lab Oscar 6 yrs and yellow lab Gracie 3 yrs. Visit my kids often, Scott and family in Pleasaton Ca, Mike & family in La Jolla, CA, Kendall in San Diego and live with youngest daughter Susan here in Phoenix. Susan is an Assistant Attorney General for State of AZ and we bought a historic home together in central city...lots of trees, grass and front lawns (very little desert) - only thing missing is the Fox River! Travel as much as I can, been to all 50 states, lots of National Parks, mostly back roads camping. On the flip side, been to Europe several times...last trip also took me to St. Petersburg and Istanbul - both fantastic. abble, watch the news and curse the state of the nation. Also have a part time job as a standardized patient at a medical school for students doing their clinicals. Have to be a "fake" patient and memorize symptoms of an illness or injury (bad back, angina, ulcer, pneumonia, depression, migranes, etc) lots of fun to spend time with "baby docs". Phoenix pretty hot in summer but I treat it like those old snowy Neenah winters and stay inside or go to movies and malls. Serving on Historic Preservation Board for our neighborhood and involved in plans for the next Historic Home & Garden Tour in March of 2012. I'm a very big Tour de France Bike fan and just fnished watching the 2011 race,,,,making plans to go to Paris for the 2014 race which will be their official 100th anniversary. Health good, can still go easy path hiking, ride my old ladies bike around the neighborhood and lots of swimming. Visited Neenah back in late 90's but haven't been back since.
