Life
After graduation I went to work as a legal secretary on Wall St. for a few years...Got caught up in the antiwar movement..went out to CA to Joan Baez's Institute for the Study of Non-violence..returned to N.Y. - worked at a drug rehab center on the Bowery..got involved in the women's movement...became a N.Y. Police officer..rose to the rank of Detective..left in '79 to go to Law school in L.A...graduated in '82. Became a prosecutor...Since '93 I have been a Judge of the Superior Court of CA. i...Expand for more
n Los Angeles - presiding over criminal trials..I return to N.Y. frequently as my family are all still in Rockaway. Aside from having to get a high school equivalency (when the NYPD informed me that Thorpe was not accredited) I have great memories of those years...the Beatles...beach parties...great classmates....would love to hear from some of you. The other two Sautners - Ann and Loraine are still New Yorkers..grandmothers. I have a partner of more than 12 years and travel the world a lot...
