Stephany's Story
Life
In 1968 at 16 I ran away from home to live with the Hippies in SF. At 18 I moved to Santa Cruz and have been here since. I married in 1979 and divorced in 1993. I have a son who is 27 and living here in Santa Cruz working for a software company. I began my career in the baking business in 1973 and I am now a culinary arts instructor teaching baking and pastry classes at a private culinary college in Campbell. o unknowingly influenced my life when I was young and had very little guidance. My parents died when I was 16 and 17 so the people that I choose as friends were my family. After my parents deaths I left the area and came to Santa Cruz where I fell in love with the ocean and the diversity of lifestyles. I found new friends for my family and still have them to this day. Although many have moved from this area since the price of land is so ridiculous.
If you remember me from the high school days please write to me so we can reconnect. My memories of those days are a bit fuzzy since I was so involved with drugs but I do remember my old friends and have found a few but would like to find more and remember the good times rather than the bad.
