Stephen's Story
It has been a some time since I have thought about high school, and I have only been to one class reunion in the 32 years so it was kind of a shock to hear that a few of my classmates have recently died. I have just celebrated my 50th birthday and have been thinking of my time at D-R and the kids I grew up with, when I realized I have not kept in touch and do not know what is going on with the people that in one way or another have influenced who I am today, so I decided to reach out to see if I could find out what everyone has been up to, as well as put my info out so anyone who was interested could find me.
Anyway, here is my story. After graduating I went to college for a few years to study accounting
and quickly realized that it was not for me, so like a lot of people I worked here and there mostly to pay for the party that was my life at the time. After a few years of that I was looking for a way out of that scene when an opportunity for me to move to Texas and get a job as a salesmen was presented to me.

r a few years of hard work and lots of travel all over the United States, I finally started to make a whole new group of friends that eventually led to me meeting my wife Carmen and buying my first home. After raising two boys and 20 plus years in Texas, I moved back to Rehoboth to work for my family in their new swimming pool business. I lived in Rehoboth on plain street for a few years while traveling back and forth to Martha's Vinyard and Nantucket island to build inground concrete swimming pools. A few years ago my wife and I purchased the Nantucket portion of my family's business and have been living on the island running and growing our company. Today our company is a full service swimming pool and spa company that designs, builds, repairs and services inground concrete swimming pools and hot tubs. We also operate a full service retail store that sells pool chemicals, toys, parts and accessories, as well as portable hot tubs.
Our children are now grown and living in our house in Texas so we spend part of our winter down there visiting and a few weeks in ARUBA recharging for the hectic spring and summer on Nantucket.
