Stephen's Story

rt as an assistant manager of their jewelry department. In September 1973 I was hired by the Mesa Police Department. During my career, I worked in almost every area of the department. I attained the rank of commander and retired in 2000. During my time with the PD, I took advantage of the City’s tuition reimbursement program and earned my MPA and my PhD. After retirement, I opened an Edward Jones investment office. In 2004, I was hired by Great Basin College to oversee and manage their Criminal Justice program. In 2012 I retired from GBC. My wife and I moved back to Gilbert, AZ. We have two children, a daughter and son, and one granddaughter.
