Life After H.S. years...... My Twin brother, Bill, and I, began college life together as roommates in the Fall of '65 at then...SMS in Springfield. After our first year together he decided to stay at home and I continued for another year. Viet Nam was taking more and more lives. So I decided that after 2 years of R.O.T.C. at SMS, to enter the military as an officer, but during the physical they found that I had an extra heart beat on my EKG and was rejected...4-F!!! Damn!!! It has never shown up since on any of my EKG's....go figure. I got married in Aug. '69 to Janet Strait of Seneca, MO. whom I met at SMS. I eventually went back to college and graduated from Lindenwood II Colleges in St. Charles in '74 with a B.S. Degree in Business Admin. & Sociology and a minor in Accounting. I was a Boy Scout Executive for 6 years in Central Iowa and in Missouri in St. Louis Area and Columbia before answering God's Call to ministry. I entered seminary in the Fall of '80. I completed my Masters of Divinity from Saint Paul School of Theology in Kansas City, MO in May of '83 and entered Full Time Ministry in June, '83. I have served United Methodist Churches in: Sweet Springs, Maysville, Savannah, Brookfield, Nevada, and Rolla, MO. I retired in July '05 after 25 years of ministry. I used my Accounting background as a Personal Banker with A GREAT LOCALLY OWNED AND OPERATED BANK out of Liberty, MO. (BankLiberty). I joined their team in Nov of '05. I have since retired.... July of '09..... when I became eligible for my church pension & S.S. I wanted to spend some of my retirement $$ before my girls got it....LOL. I am now living in Fort Pierce, FL.
