My Spouse
We were housemates during our Junior year at the University of Michigan.
My Pets
Our cat's name is Maui, a moniker bestowed by our daughter, Rayna.
Maui is quite the vicious beastie, a truly feisty and frisky fur faced feline.
My Kids
Rayna turns 10 in May 2001. In just 2 months of piano lessons, she surpassed both her mother and father's piano playing ability. She likes to algebra problems before bedtime.

My Job
It's the greatest job on earth. In high school, I had to decide whether I wanted to become a musician or a scientist. I became a professor/scientist, and I've never regretted a thing. Happily, I still play my guitar every day (if I'd become a musician, on the other hand, I would no longer be able to do science).
