Stephen's Story
After graduating from WRHS, I moved back to Alabama and attended the University. I was pre-law, and majored in history and political science. Instead of going to Law School, I entered the master's program in Romance languages and got my M.A. I began my teaching career at the same time.
I taught Spanish for twenty years and then AP and college-prep US history for ten years, primarily in private schools. I then retired from full-time teaching but continued teaching part-time until 2016.. I spe...Expand for more
nt a few years as the administrator of a law firm and retired in 2016. I live in Tuscaloosa.
I play tennis and compete in tournaments. I dabble on the computer and read non-fiction mainly history and biography. Naturally, I follow Alabama football having been there in the glory days of the '70s.
I am a classical liberal and worked in campaigns when I was younger. I still keep up with public policy issues and enjoy hearing from classmates and former students and finding out what they are doing!
