Stephen's Story
Well...I'm not planning on boring anyone here. So, I'll attempt to keep it brief.
After leaving Middlesboro, KY (June 1991), I moved to Paducah, KY, where I graduated high school (June 1993). Moved to Dallas, TX, where I attended college and experienced the first great moment in my life- the birth of my son. We then moved back to Kentucky, to be near family for a time and for me to finish up my B.A. in Biblical Languages (Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic). It was at that time I experienced the second great moment in my life- the birth of my daughter.
We then moved to Jerusalem, Israel, where I studied in the Hebrew University toward an M.A. in Ancient Middle Eastern Languages. September 11, 2001 occurred during my last semester abroad.

enlisted in the U.S. Army as a linguist, in which capacity I served for five (5) years. Was able to see some great places, to include Monterey, CA, San Francisco, CA, San Antonio, TX, Washington, D.C., and many "armpitish" places. Of course I found myself back in the Middle East with my buddies of the 101st Airborne Division, rolling around in the sandbox getting a tan wearing all that equipment. During my time in Iraq I experienced my third great moment in life- mortality.
After finishing my time in the Army, I started working in the civilian world with some civilian companies as a developer and linguist.
I currently enjoy something of a quiet existence, in comparison to my past pace of life. Kinda waiting to see if there are any more great moments to be had.
