Stephen's Story
Life
I've had a great time since graduation. I had a young marriage, some college, a lot of travel, and became a systems analyst for Titan Corporation in San Diego. (They've since become L3).
I married for a second time in 1988, becoming an instant dad to three kids (now aged 28, 25 and 24). Each of them were in band through high school and college, and I enjoyed being a band parent. The experience of parenthood was positive enough to convince me to try one from scratch, and my wife Dawn and I have a 9 year old son named Sam. ville, Florida and now Palm Harbor (near Clearwater/St. Petersburg).
For the last few years I've lived my high school dream of being a golf professional. However, I'm FINALLY finishing college in the next year and hope to become a high school math teacher and golf coach. My wife is an attorney working as a prosecutor. The little guy is in fifth grade. By February of '08, all of our big kids will be married and they each enjoy interesting careers.
I didn't envision any of this when I was a kid in Chula Vista, but each unexpected turn in the road has ended up being a worthwhile one.
