Stephen's Story

Hello Former Chieftains! Welcome to my bio. It¿s hard to believe it has been over thirty years since I left Conard and West Hartford. In some ways, those days seem unbelievably distant, but in other ways they are with me right now. After all, those times shaped me into who I am. I still remember the Railroad Salvage ads, the Bill Savitt jingle and the Royal Wombat Society banner flapping on the flagpole. Before I leap into any details, let me say that I have been one of the lucky ones in life. I got to do everything that I wanted¿and then some. I¿ve been fortunate enough to work with some of the most creative people imaginable, and, miraculously enough, get paid while doing it. And all of this began with Jim Myers in 10th grade English giving me some advice. (I owe him a HUGE debt of gratitude¿wherever he is.) Basically, for anyone who remembers me, I always liked cartoons and movies, and I got to follow that passion into adulthood. I won¿t bore anyone with the details, but if you are for some reason interested, my past ...Expand for more
is all documented on Internet Movie Database (IMDB). I have been married for over twenty-five years, and during that time, my wife and I have enjoyed lots of adventures¿ including living in England for seven years and traveling all over the world. Most of my time, though, has been spent living in Los Angeles, which is a place that I love. I always wanted to live where there was lots of sun, and I got my wish. As I said, I am lucky. For the most part I feel I am still the same kid from Conard. I somehow have managed to keep my curly, unruly hair, a slight build and my eccentricities. Thanks to Lasik, I can now walk around without glasses! Yay, modern science! (I haven¿t placed any photos of me on this website¿but if, for some crazy reason, you want to see what I look like nowadays check out Google image or flicker. There are more photos of me floating around than I wish there were.) For anyone who has read this far, I appreciate your interest, and I hope I have managed to keep you up to date on what is happening in my life.
