Stephen's Story
I am looking forward to the 125th Anniversary. I was still living in Parkdale in 1989 for the 100th and it was both bittersweet and fun. Although I have lived in the Country in North Halton for the past 24 years, I still think of myself as a Parkdalian. I hope and believe that I always will. those with whom I had only a passing acquaintance. It was all very special.
I have 3 Daughters, 19, 20 and 24. Each of whom have grown up with a degree of privilege that none of us had. I take them to Queen and Lansdowne once in a while, so they can see the great qualities of the Neighbourhood that their Dad is so very proud to still call "home".
Although we may not have understood it at the time, we were blessed to be from Parkdale.
