Stephen's Story
Life
I've been in the Navy since high school and finished college while on active duty. I currenly fly helicopters for the Navy. I've been married for 12 years now and have 3 girls ages 8, 6, and 6 months.
School
Went to high school at Southside. Finished Associates through Cleveland Institute of Electronics and Bachelors from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.

After bootcamp and A school, I started off at AIMD Miramar before the Mar...Expand for more
ines took over the base. After 3 years there I went down to North Island with HS-6 in the Heart of San Diego as an avionics tech on the SH-60 Seahawk. I did two 6 month deployments (one on the Kitty Hawk and one on the Vinson). From there I left for Lemoore (central CA) to instruct avionics. After that, I left for OCS and got my commission. Soon after I started flying the T-34C and then the TH-57B. In October of 04 I got orders to fly "Big Iron" the mighty MH-53E. I'm currently with HM-14 out of Norfolk now and loving it.
