Stephen's Story
Following high school I joined the U.S. Air Force and was trained to work on/repair aircraft weapons systems. I was stationed in that period in Thailand. Beautiful country and I learned a great deal about the culture and people of Southeast Asia. Upon return to the states I was stationed in Las Vegas for a short period and then was transferred to McChord AFB near Tacoma. I was retrained at this point into the aircraft Loadmaster field. That was a fortuitous move. I learned a great deal about physics and mathematics in this field and it spurred me into continuing my education. to do post graduate work in Aeronautical Science focusing my studies on Aircraft Operations Safey and Program Management. After my thirty years of traveling the globe in the Air Force I settled into a job working for the Boeing Company training Air Force Aircrews in the flight simulators at McChord. I have been married since 1977 to my wife Capri. We have three children, two boys and a girl. Our sons are both in the Air Force and our daughter is a wife and mother to three beautiful kids. We presently have a total of five grandchildren and look forward to more. This is a quick synopsis of my life since school but as you can guess there is much, much more to tell....
