Stephen's Story
Since leaving Huntington in 1970, I have been incredibly blessed and fortunate to experience both a happy, healthy and loving family and an exciting, fulfilling and successful career. Sally and I have shared a remarkable life since we married in 1980 and we have thoroughly enjoyed our adopted new home state of Colorado since 1982. Our two sons, Jeff and Tom, are still close to us here in Colorado and both are also experiencing the beginnings of very fulfilling and exciting careers as well.
I feel I have been extremely fortunate to focus my entire career in the area of international business and have had the incredible opportunity to work now in over ninety countries, experiencing extremely diverse cultures, business structures, histories, geographies and landmarks literally all over the world. ior executive for two Fortune 500 companies, I've had the wonderful experience of making lasting friendships with colleagues and their families in many, many countries.
Both throughout my career, and now even more in semi-retirement, Sally and I have been able to travel extensively and to collect incredible experiences wherever we have gone. We are avid blue-water sailers and scuba enthusiasts and we have been able to combine these two passions on many trips. We have recently added our new RV, Zeus, a 46 ft. fifth-wheel toy-hauler and this has opened even more venues for our adventures. We are now focusing on visiting the endless list of incredible natural and historic wonders throughout the western US and Canada during the summer months and getting to the Caribbean for sailing and diving in the winter.
