Stephen's Story
(2014) Vacation in England, Wales and Scotland, saw Buckingham Palace, Tower Castle with the poppies in the mote, Beefeaters, Tower Bridge, William ShakespeareÂs birthplace, Bath, Stonehenge, Welsh Lovespoon, Whitby Abby, Deacon BrodieÂs Tavern, Greyfriars Bobby, Edinburgh Castle, and Yacht Britannia, too may places to mention.
(2013) Just returned from an Alaska cruise to Juneau, Glacier Bay, Sitka , Ketchikan, and Victoria, BC, on Holland America. Very nice cruise, cool and rainy most of the time. The ship goes right up to the glaciers in Glacier Bay. We also went whale watching, and got up close to humpback whales. After we returned to Seattle, we took the Amtrack to Portland Oregon for the day, which is a very nice city. My wife has now visited all 50 states, cross that off her bucket list.
(2011 - update) I sold my airplane in 2009 and this past month (May) my brother Mark sold his airplane. My wife and I just got back from vacation in Ireland, a very nice country to visit. We went with the Frederick AARP. Just moved my parents into Assisted Living (June), boy was that hard to do. Man, are we getting old...

lovely wife Karen. We have two boys, Ryan, age 22, 6ft 3in and Kevin, age 18, 6ft 4in. This October I reached my 30 years of service at Montgomery College(programmer/analyst) and I am eligible to retiree now with full benefits. My wife Karen has 35 years in at MC, so we are just waiting for the boys to finish college. I have completed flight training and received my certification for ultralight airplanes in 2000. I soloed after 5 hours of instruction and have a Experimental airplane RANS S6 under construction in the garage. Before building my own plane I designed and build several of my own Radio Controlled airplanes. I have flown to Florida maybe 5 times in my brothers Experimental airplane i helped him build 2 planes now. We have done quite a bit of work with vortex generators on experimental airplanes with amazing results that we have shared with other experimental owners. Before having kids we traveled to France(French Riviera and Paris)and Monte Carlo. Since having kids we have been to Bermuda 3 times, 2 Eastern Caribbean Cruise, 1 Western Caribbean Cruise, Mexico, Yellowstone, and Hawaii. I have hiked 100 miles on the Appalachian Trail with my 2 brothers.
