Stephen's Story
Life
After Graduation, I attended COS and played Baseball. I received my AA in Liberal Studies and moved to Sacramento to attend CSUS. While attending CSUS, I pledged Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. I received my BA in Psychology in 1993. I met my fiance in college in 1992 through mutual friends of the fraternity. I previously worked at a Group Home for Children from 1995-1997 using my Psychology degree. Then was hired by Sacramento County Probation and worked in Juvenile Hall for 3 years. in 2000 to my current assignment in Juvenile Court. There, I work in the Courtroom everyday representing the Probation Department for Juvenile Court Proceedings.
Workplace
I currently live in Sacramento and own a home with my fiance. We have 1 dog (Jake) and no kids. I have worked for Sacramento County Probation Department since 1997. My current assignment is Juvenile Court where I serve as a Court Presenter. I am in Court everyday working with Judges, Attorney's and Families in helping resolve cases.
