Update 09:
I'm going ahead and move to Dominica around Aug. or Sept. Hard to sell a farm in this economy so I'm going on down and rent a place until the farm sells. That will also give me the opportunity of making sure I want to live there. Haaaa!!!
I want to be taking a bath under hot waterfalls, growing my veggies organically, growing my own cocoa and coffee trees, throwing a fresh tuna steak on the grill, tubing down the river to the sea, snorkeling and drinking little umbrella drinks while talking with friends and watching for the green spike on the Caribbean sunsets. Now that is paradise, folks! Haaaaaaaa!!!!
I do have to be careful when I snorkle though.....the last time I was trying to get out of the ocean and onto the beach, the local natives kept pushing me back in until I started yelling at them....it seems they thought I was a big white beached whale and they were helping me back in the water! Haaaa!!!!
Update: Retired in 2006. Currently trying to sell the farm in Tn. and go to build a house on Dominica in the Caribbean. Sam Buddy Brigman is doing the same. Anyone wa...Expand for more

Life
High school, Vietnam, Calhoun, Cabinet business, Upholstery business, then went to work at UAH and retired there this past April 1, 2006. Married twice, divorced, girl 15 boy 11. Currently living in Tennessee on a farm. Keep in touch with Buddy Brigman and Danny O'Neal, Mike Stewart and Pat Stewart. I worked off and on through the years with Pat Erwin and Cary Hall through my job with the University.
The Stewarts have recently moved back to Huntsville after various careers and we are trying to keep in touch. I went to St. John Virgin Island to spend two weeks with Buddy Brigman (Sam now) and his wife Vicki. We get along famously and then in April after retiring I met them on the island of Dominica, Dominica. A little further down the chain of islands.
Danny O'Neal (Bellows) met me in Gatlinburg for a 3 day talk fest. We sat and talked and drank beer for three days and really enjoyed it. I hadn't seen Danny since losing him in California in 1971 or so until he found me again on this site about 3 or so years ago.
