Stephen's Story

Wow...where do you start. When I left Central High I started college in Iowa then came back to Northeastern where I gruadated with both my BS and MS in Education. Eventually got my Administrative certification from OU. I took a counselling job at Hilldale on the South side of Muskogee that soon moved me to be Principal. I left there to try my hand at private business in Crested Butte Colorado...great fun, but finally had to come back to reality. I took a job as Principal in Maine and while I was there I applied and was accepted into the University of Oxford in England. e I was principal for 8 years. Now I am in Jenks as Principal, where I have been for the past 8 years. It has been very rewarding as I now serve as Cabinet member and a laison to China. Just returned from China in mid January. I have been requested both by Jenks and the Chinese government to return in March, but may have to pass as my parents health has not been good. I lost my brother, Richard, to cancer this past November. Living in Tulsa now thinking about retirement, something you never think will come your way...but it did or has. This is a quick review of my directions since graduation...and I probably left something out.
