After choosing to retire during the pandemic, I finally found time to join Classmates and find out where everyone is and what’s happening. Amazing how time flies. Now for an update. After graduation I attended UTEP as long as I could but managing my social life and working full time my ADHD took over and I had to move on. I went to work for an engineering firm surveying gas well pipelines in Oregon, Idaho and Colorado until I got a call to work for USGS in Colorado where I was part of a group conducting Seismic analysis of the Central Arizona Project. I married a Coronado HS girl and started a family. After a few years with USGS, I returned to UTEP to finish my degree in Geochemistry and went to work for a local company as a Chemist while taking my classes. I graduated in 1983 and continued working on my Master’s degree until the company closed the El Paso operations and transferred me to their plant in Ohio as Chief Geologist.
