Stephen/Christien's Story
Hey All, I have been living in Boston, Ma for the past 35 years. I was a professional dancer who got to travel all over the world with various companies from 1978 till 1995. My favorite gig was teaching in Iceland for the Icelantic Ballet for a month in the summers and then teach in Denmark at the Institute of Movement in Viborg. That was a 5 year job I was very sorry stopped. I danced, choreographed and had my own company, Ariel Dance Theatre, until 1996 when I retired to get a masters in Dance education. ance, running an arts program for students with disabilities, mostly students with autism and asperbergers, and this year I began directing the Performing Arts curricular and extra-curricular schedules for the High School.
I am married to a man named Bill who was also a dancer and who I have been with for 32 years. Life is good. I miss California sometimes and wish I could move back sometimes to be closer to my family.
Oh, the picture is of me and my sister Daphne (some of you may remember her) on our trip to Maui to celebrate her 60th B-day. I always take picture with a crazy mug face, so this was it.
