Stephen's Story
As the Grateful Dead would say, "What a long, strange trip it's been!" Berkeley, anti-war movement, Ph.D. in anthropology at the University of Chicago, research in Brazil. Married and then unmarried, married again and now separated. Three kids, who live with me in Brooklyn, New York. 23-year-old twins and a brilliant 13-year-old set on becoming a rock drummer. and then left the classroom looking for a better way to have an impact. Senior administrator at the college of technology of The City University of New York. I look in the mirror and see my father (just like Bono), but in my heart I am still that kid raising my voice on Telegraph Avenue. 150 neck ties, a half-dozen suits, soccer coach, a mortgage, a new car. Who is this guy? But to tell the truth, I kind of like him.
