Finally settled in Augusta Georgia after passing through Boston, Ashton Rhode Island, Amarillo Texas, back to Toledo, and Columbus Ohio (relocated with my job). Have been in Augusta ~21 years - long enough to have lost my accent. Was married for 24 years and have two young'uns - a 24 year old daughter and 25 year old son. Currently happily divorced and living a dream in a job and climate that I love. I received my electrical engineering degree from U of T and started my career as a process control design engineer for Owens Corning. Transitioning to project engineering and maintenance management (in Amarillo) - then back to Toledo for a short design engineering stint before moving to Columbus to manage a Control Systems Technology group in OCs (Granville Ohio) R&D center. I'm currently an IT manager at a fiberglass manufacturing plant in Aiken South Carolina - it was an Owens Corning Plant when I moved here in early 1995 as the Technical Services Organization Manager. It was sold to a French company in 1998. I'm a cancer survivor - Hodgkin's lymphoma: diagnosed in October 2005 and, after 8 months of chemotherapy, have been cancer-free since June 2006.
