Steve's Story
Already retired ! I worked for the US Army as a civilian employee for 32 years. Most of that time was spent at historic Fort Monroe in Hampton, Va. Traveled a bit with the job to most of the Army installations in the US.
Am now married to Barbara Hellriegel for nine years, after wearing out a couple of starter wives.
Life is good. I have been blessed many times over and am now in position to travel with Barbara, play as I wish, and partake in whatever feels right at the time.

outside. My beagle, Pixie makes sure we put a mile or two on the map every day and I'm happy to try and keep up with her.
From growing up in Staunton, VA, we moved to Stuarts Draft in 1968, so I attended Wilson Memorial High School for two years and then graduated from Stuarts Draft High School in 1971. From there to Old Dominion University from 1971 to 1975, took a BS in Business Management, Personnel. A few short term jobs, before joining the civil service in 1976.
