Steve's Story
Life
My life...has become a tangled web. I got married in '94 and became the father of 2 girls, 12 and 8, who both went through puberty about ten seconds after the wedding. Around the time I started to figure out how to be a parent, the kids moved out and my wife and I got divorced. That was in the start of '05 and we have since resolved our problems and remain friends. Family gatherings are a bit strange when you cosider that they include my ex-wife's new boyfriend and three generations of ex-husbands, but we all get along pretty well and have a good time.
Amber, the older girl, is now 25 and has a three year old bundle of energy named Drake who I predict will pay her back for all the times I wanted to ground her for eternity...Expand for more

Cara, the younger girl, is 22 and the mother of a 6 month old boy named Cameron...he seems to be a truly mellow little man, my plan is to give both boys very loud toys whenever possible to take home and use when mom is trying to rest. (This will cancel out all those times they woke me up trying to sneak back into the house after midnight)
I have a little place out in Black Forest, about 20 miles north of Colorado Springs. It is quiet and remote and I love it. My plans to retire before 40 have been pushed back a few decades and I am still turning wrenches for Saturn. Not a bad job, but I would still prefer to be on a beach sipping drinks with dumb names and little umbrellas.
